Father's Day Gift Guide, Part 2:

Father’s Day Top 10 Gift Guide

Dear Kara,
I loved your suggestions. It’s also fun to see our different takes on the type of men in our lives. I hope you enjoy my choices!
xoxo,
Margaret

For the Grill Master….
"Eat this, not that" came out with a grilling book and it’s a great way to enlighten Dad’s on how to cook healthy on the grill. Plus these guys make their books super easy to read and entertaining. $13

For the Golfer Dad….

Spike-less golf shoes have become the thing on the golf course after Fred Couples wore them at the Masters in 2010. These shoes by Ecco actually look cool, unlike the uptight golf shoes.  $170

For the Scotch Drinker….

Johnny Walker Blue label has an option on their site where you can get the bottles engraved. I did this for a friend’s 40th birthday and it was a HUGE hit. I highly recommend. Starting at $225

For the Music Aficionado….

Bose noise blocker headphones are amazing! If your father doesn’t have these and loves music or is a frequent flyer these are a must buy! He won’t be able to use any other head phones again. I bought mine a few years ago and I even workout with them because the sound is so good. The difference they make flying is amazing, I sleep so much better on the long flights now.
Starting at $300

For the Dad that has everything….

You can’t go wrong with a magazine subscription to Men’s Health, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, US (For the Dad that loves the gossip), Esquire, GQ, Bon Appetite, Etc… There is a magazine for every interest just give it a search on the web.

For the Tool Time Ted….

A Swiss Army knife is a man’s necessity. They offer so many different versions it is hard to choose. If your old man already has one, take a peak at the different options, you might want to get an upgrade. They even have ones with USB cards.  The classic is only $80!

For the Smoker Dad….

Nothing like a nice cigar on Father’s Day. There are so many options online you are bound to find one that will please. If you want to go the extra mile check out the humidors too.

The T-Shirt Every Man Should Own….

This T-Shirt by Icebreaker is made of 100% merino wool from New Zealand but is miraculously cool, highly breathable, odor resistant and fast drying for perspiration. We bought Michael one for an Australia/New Zealand trip because he need a durable t-shirt that he could count on. As the salesman said he skateboards in his and wears it about 8 times and then it starts to smell. That has all men appeal written all over it.
$50-75  (also comes in just solid no graphic)

For the Dad that needs some new shades….

Persol shades are a classic and look good on almost everyone! These guys have been spotted on Orlando Bloom, Pearce Brosnan and Daniel Craig.  I personally love the tortoiseshell but they have lots of different options. They even have ones that fold up a second time to be extremely compact. $220

Last but not least…The Gag Gifts

Personalized gifts can be the most fun and meaningful. Zazzle.com has a tons of options, t-shirts, aprons, mugs, stickers, etc… You can get creative with pictures, sayings, drawings, etc…I think the trucker hat might be my favorite.
